462 grams of heroin found in post office in Ecuador; Meant to go overseas

462 grams of heroin derived from cocaine were found in a package meant to be shipped from Ecuador to a location overseas. It was discovered in a post office, El Mercurio reports. Officials do not know who sent the package, or who was to receive it. This type of drug is priced too high for local markets, authorities stated, leading it to be more commonly exported, especially to the United States and Europe. Investigations are ongoing.
