41 kilograms of cocaine found in Belgium port; hidden in banana shipment from Ecuador

Police from Ecuador and Belgium helped to intercept a shipment of cocaine that arrived in the port of Antwerp. 41 kilograms of the drug had been hidden in a shipment of bananas that originated in Guayaquil,Ecuador, El Mundo reports. The cocaine had been transported in refrigerated containers on a merchant ship. An international agreement allowed the two countries to work together to intercept the delivery.
