Mexico City, Mexico: Police Rescue 6 Sex Trafficking Victims

On July 13, 2013 Televisa Noticias reported the rescue of six female trafficking victims in Mexico City. The rescued women allegedly were required to perform sex services in a building located in the city’s Venustiano Carranza borough.

Additionally, trafficking suspects Fernando González Valencia and Iván López González were arrested and sent to the East Men’s Detention Center. The detainees are accused of guarding the women and collecting the money for the sex services they performed. Read Article
