15 billion pesos worth of marijuana seized in Argentina; Came from Paraguay, Brazil

Over 3.5 tons of high-purity marijuana, presumably from Paraguay, was discovered near Yapeyú, Argentina, along Route 14. The shipment entered Argentina from Brazil on a truck, Diario Epoca reports. The driver, a Brazilian, had left Bernardo de Irigoyen and was headed to the city of Rosario, in the Santa Fe province. The truck was supposedly carrying a shipment of plastic bottle caps for shampoo. However, after inspection, officials found thousands of marijuana packed into bricks, valued at approximately 15 billion pesos. Read Article
