1.5 Tons of Marijuana Seized in Paraguay

Froml lainformacion.com on June 5, 2013- Agents from the National Anti-drug Ministry of Paraguay (Senad) seized 1.5 tons of marijuana that was hidden in a tourist bus whose final destination was Rio de Janeiro. A spokesperson from Senad indicated that another bus had already crossed in Brazil and would later be intercepted by the Brazilian Federal Police. There were 30 passengers on the bus who were tricked into buying the cheap tickets without knowing the bus was transporting drugs. The bus originated from the Paraguayan city of Ciudad el Este located on the Paraguay-Brazil border. Read Article
