Brazilian Couple Detained in Spain for International Drug Trafficking Charges

On August 22, 2013, Terra reported that a Brazilian couple was detained in Ibiza, Spain for international drug trafficking. The couple, who acted as “mules”, was part of a gang that transports cocaine and ecstasy from Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo and to Spain, Germany and the Netherlands. Interpol with the help of the Federal Police of Rio de Janeiro located the fugitives. Read Article
