Colombian President Santos Announces the End of La Niña

•Caracol.com.co reveals that during the Acuerdo para la Prosperidad in Cali, President Santos announced that the meteorological phenomenon has ended according to Ideam, but warns citizens to still be careful as rains will continue in the next days.
•Since April 2010, the weather conditions caused by La Niña have caused 464 deaths and have affected 3.5 million people.
•Red alert is maintained in the river Magdalena and the basin of the river Cauca due to their high levels.
•The eastern plains by the river Arauca and the entire eastern side remain under red alert.
•The south and center of Colombia are experiencing clear weather. Read Article
