The Candidates to Replace Moreno as Mayor of Bogotá
• Per a report by elcolombiano.com, the National Executive Committee of the Alternative Democratic Pole released the list of three candidates to replace Moreno for three months.
• The Colombian Attorney General is suspending him.
• The only female candidate is Mariela Barragán, the current Secretary of Economic Development of the District, who was also part of the government of Luis Eduardo.
• She is also one of the founders of the party.
• The second is Tarcisio Mora, the current President of the Central Unitaria de Trabajadores (Unitarian Center of Workers) who was the former president of Fecode (Colombian Federation of Educators).
• The last candidate is the ex-Magistrate of the State Council, Jamie Moreno, who is now part of the Commission of Ethics of the party.
• The list is to be presented to President Santos who will choose one of the candidates as mayor of Bogotá. Read Article
