Argentina, “All for the Falklands” campaign proposed

National Deputy Mariel Calchaquí has introduced 2 bills this week under the slogan “All for the Falklands” that aim to increase awareness nationally and internationally that Argentina has rights to the territory, according to malvinense.com.ar. The first part of the legislation proposed would create a logo stating, “The Falkland, Georgia and South Sandwich Islands are Argentinean.” All public transportation vehicles of the air, land, sea, river and lake would be required to display the logo. The second part states that the logo would be used as a header in all official websites of federal government agencies, independent organizations, local governments, universities and public schools along with all official stationery.
